I will start with our day yesterday. Jared wasn't feeling good in the morning so he stayed home from work. By afternoon, all was better, so we decided to go to the Train Museum in Ogden. They close at 5pm so it is hard to find the time to go on a normal working day. They have a model of a caboose that the kids can climb in, a locomotive that they can work the horn and a couple of other hands on things. There is a model train towards the back that chugs through several display cases and a bridge overhead. There is also a gun museum that Jared likes, although they moved the rock displays they used to have to another location. The train yard outside was closed for renovation, but out there they have a few trains that you can usually walk around.
