St. George

Winter was so long this year that in May we decided we needed a break. We headed down to St. George for a quick getaway. We took the kids to the church history sites (Brigham Young's Winter Home, Jacob Hamblin's house, The Tabernacle, The Temple, and watched airplanes come in at the airport). We also got out of the heat one day for the movie, "How to train a Dragon" - it was a really cute show. The kids didn't care too much what we did as long as swimming was part of the day. It was nice to spend some time together, Colby did great away from home, and it was a nice break.

A couple of funny things - at the Tabernacle the cute older missionary said he would keep things short because we had kids and he knows how their attention span isn't too long. Well, after a bottle feeding, a leaky diaper, clothes change for Colby, a potty break for Josh and Bailee, and several whispered "are we done yets", he finally ended our tour (I think it was 2 hours later). The next day we went to the Temple grounds before we headed home and Joshua said he didn't want to go on any more tours :) I didn't either.
