You know gas is expensive when.....

It gets siphoned from your vehicles twice in one weekend. We rented a Uhaul trailer to use on Friday and on the way home from picking it up Thursday night, Jared filled our truck up with gas. The next morning on the way to the storage unit he called to say the tank was half full. He wasn't being a pessimist, it was literally half full. Someone had siphoned our gas!

After we were done with the trailer he picked up a Uhaul truck to use on Saturday, for the big stuff. Before they let you take it they record mileage, gas, etc. The tank was full and with everything going on we didn't really think about it happening again. Well, Saturday morning I got another call saying that half a tank of gas was missing, AGAIN.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me." We should have thought about it and made it a little more difficult to do it again but we were so tired and just concentrating on the move and waking up early the next day that it didn't really occur to us that they would come back to the same house twice in a row. Next time (believe me there won't be a next time - we are going to stay put after this), but if there were a next time, Jared will be sleeping in the cab of the truck and his dog will be sleeping under it.

Thank you for those kind words & sound advice on my blog! They were things that we had discussed & we are bound & determined to make sure those girls are loved & grow up to be stable adults, despite their mother. Thanks again!

Why don't you come park in front of our house so we can "borrow" some gas from you too!!!
Where are you guys looking at moving?

Gas? These people need to get a life. Go get a job, gas stealers. Honestly, if you can't afford to fill-up your car, don't have a car. Ride a bike, people! Who in their right mind has the time to do something like that anyway? Can you tell I am fired up about this?
